RecoveryAir Compression comes to the UK

RecoveryAir is a medical-grade compression device scientifically-validated to reduce muscle fatigue, soreness, swelling, inflammation, and increase overall circulation. It’s arriving in the UK very soon.

Therabody are well known for their Smart Percussive Therapy devices, Theragun, and have grown their product lineup to feature the new RecoveryAir product. Therabody are promising the RecoveryAir will be available at a competitive price point in the industry to allow access to a wider audience, not just professional athletes which this technology was once reserved for.

The technology provides a solution for workers who stand on their feet all day or sit for long periods of time, travellers, athletes, post-operation and rehab patients, and anyone wanting to feel better, naturally. It is a passive treatment – allowing you to sit, read, watch tv, and relax while the technology does the work for you.

RecoveryAir

Targeting your lower body, RecoveryAir uses precise controlled pressure to promote the health of the circulatory system, helps promote blood flow, and circulation back to the heart. The pressure is then released, allowing blood flow back to the limb. RecoveryAir’s cycle time from the start of compression to release is claimed to be two times faster than any other product on the market.

RecoveryAir systems sequentially compress the legs to more quickly flush out metabolic waste and bring fresh, oxygenated blood back to the area. This increase in circulation helps reduce muscle soreness and fatigue more globally in the body.

This is not a paywall. RUN247 is still free to read.

There are two versions being released by Therabody:

  • RecoveryAir (£599) – advanced compression simplified for everybody, with set treatment programs
  • RecoveryAir PRO (£1129) – personalized pneumatic compression programs with connectivity to the Therabody app

If you’re looking for the next level of recovery therapy then the RecoveryAir system might be just the thing. We’ll take a closer look when they launch in the UK.
