British Success at Canfranc

Published on

It was the Canfranc Race in Spain at the weekend, which is part of the Alpinultras series of races. This race is incredibly tough. It is a 100k race but it has 8,848 metres of ascent. The terrain is very technical and 70% of the race takes place at over 2000m.

Our friends over at Carreras de Montana were there and they let us know about some British success at the race. Oli Johnson, from Dark Peak Fell Runners, finished in third place. Mayayo, from Carreras de Montana, caught up with him after the finish and here is the interview. Congratulations Oli!
